Ashenvale

Since reaching my 20’s I have found my travels take me further and further from the large cities when taking on missions. Most recently I have been resting at an inn located in Astranaar, near the center of Ashenvale. I have managed to heal a man’s ailing daughter, deliver the head of a menacing furbolg by the name of Dal, and overall lower the spider, wolf, and bear population in the area.

The occasional Horde passing through have been just as cumbersome as they have been fun. Stealthy, they are. They like to wait until you are in full on combat with a mean spider or furry shaman and then the next thing you know, there is a bolt of lightning or an axe against the back of your head. Gobbie and I learned a valuable lesson the other day… never fight with your back to a road in Contested Territory. Granted you can get ambushed anywhere in the forest or in town…. Your back turned to a road is like broadcasting an invitation to die.
