OMG BRD? NP! GTG!

So for my "last night before E3" of WoW I asked my guild if anyone wanted to do an instance run. I still have quests in Maraudon and the Sunken Temple, plus one in Dire Maul and I had *8* in Blackrock Depths.

Well, a friend wanted to do Sunken Temple later, so when I logged in I immediately had an invite for BRD. Which is fun; I'd been to the outside of there once, but never inside of it. A quick flight out to the Burning Steppes via Nethergarde Keep and it was time to mount up and head out to BRD.

Still being unfamiliar with the general layout of the entrance to there I met up with our warrior and followed him. On the way in I grabbed the quest "Attunement to the Core". It's the quest that allows you to enter the Molten Core, a raid instance for the end-game. So now I had nine quests.

Obviously we weren't going to get all of those done in one night. However, I did recover one goblin's head, get back the lost recipe for Thunderbrew beer, collect 20 Dark Iron fanny packs, kill Incendius, and find the piece of the core fragment so I could attune to it.

All in all it's an interesting instance. There's a huge bar with drunken dwarven patrons (who evidently you're not supposed to talk to), a quest that you can only get if you're dead (which I don't have yet, therefore), puzzles, and lots of tough enemies. I shot off about 1400 rounds of ammo as well as using about half a stack of Roasted Quail to help keep my dog happy (not to mention the occasional piece of wolf meat that dropped off the demon hounds at the beginning), not to mention the amount of Moonberry Juice I drank and the food I ate for myself.

The XP was pretty good, my favorite druid Ozarinn managed to hit 60, and I made a fair bit of money off the vendor trash and quest rewards - though I did not win a single roll on any of the things I rolled on the whole time. That kind of stunk. I did get a good bit of Dark Iron ore, which helped level my mining though I don't know how to smelt it yet.

I'm going to have to fish or farm for more food supplies before I go again, I believe, and also make sure I'm full up on ammo. Fortunately making hi-impact mithril slugs still levels my engineering, so I don't mind making it. I do believe I really, really need a new gun at least, and maybe starting considering a new melee weapon.

Then again, I did have an issue of getting too much aggro occasionally thanks to critting my aimed shot. Oh, well.
