I'd been getting cut off a lot lately but it's starting to look like my cable modem is dying. Thus, it'll be about time to buy a new one.

Other than that, not much going on. I've gotten my black orc up to 11, and want to get in some more T1 PvP before that goes away. But it seems like I'm missing skills I should have with him.

My Marauder is up to 7 and he looks like I'm going to have to start paying more attention on how I actually play. D'oh!

You know, there's one thing I hate - playing drunk and waking up the next day to wonder "where am I and how did I get there?!"

But it's cool how much world there is when you're not on the main path. There's a ton of stuff to find, and even more that's dorf territory if you're in ork-dwarf territory.

Now, I hadn't reset my rally point so I got sent all the way back to my starting zone when I used my Book of Binding.

I've been doing talisman making and one thing I found out just recently is that they expire. Who knew?! That's actually kind of cool.

So - uh - yeah, it's been a while.

WAR came out and at my house my pre-ordered CE version showed up - but I still didn't have a computer that could run it.

About a week later I ran into a great deal on a new gaming laptop, a Gateway P7811 FX. I bought one.

I've not played a ton, but I have played a bit and I'm enjoying the heck out of the game. It's quite a bit different than the version I first played back in January 2007, or the version I played at Games Day later that year, and I keep forgetting that.

But it's loads of fun.

Unfortunately for me I keep forgetting to plug my battery in! Last night my laptop turned off in the middle of a one on one battle with some dorf. My black orc was doing okay and then - wham. No power.

Stupid me.

But tonight will be more fun, I'm sure...
