*DARKENED SKY OFFERS FREE LEGACY CHRON X REGISTRATIONS*

*JULY 8, 2007 * - Darkened Sky Studios announced today that it will
provide registered accounts on the Chron X legacy service free of
charge. The registration, which was previously priced at $16, allows
users to trade cards and take part in a wider range of activities. While
there are no plans to re-open the legacy card store for acquisition of
new cards, the open registration will allow new users experiencing Chron
X for the first time to trade with veteran players and earn rankings.

To redeem the free registration, a user must first download and install
the legacy Chron X client, available from www.chronx.com, and create an unregistered account. Then, to register the account, complete the form at www.chronx.com/registration. Do not attempt to purchase a registration through the Chron X store or the Register button in the client. Registration requests may take up to 24 hours to process.

As part of this offer, Darkened Sky will reward users who refer new
players to Chron X. For each newly-registered account created, the user
referring that account will receive 100 in-game card credits, which will
be awarded at the launch of Chron X 2. To receive these credits, the new
account must have completed at least 20 games by the Chron X 2 launch date.
