The connection problem has already been fixed.
To fix it yourself you should download the patch from here.
Extract this in the current ROSE folder.

Once ROSE works again you might notice that there is lag.
I'd recommend to wait a while until this lag goes away.

To be honest, I'd say this is the worst kind of lag I've ever had.
So be warned when you want to keep on playing.
The lag should be over within a day though.
