Right now I've been fighting Junon Golems to level my hawker (lvl56).
If you actually defeated them, they often drop a rare item such as a 3rd grade talisman or bind rune.
They drop these so often, that it makes it possible to make an refined (7) item.
Right now I'm going for the Bear paws (7) so my attack will rise a lot.
Off course you can do the same to any other armor.
Remember : Refining beyond (3) is a risk you shouldn't take if your equipment has good stats on it.
It is best to use it on NPC equipment.
