emember when I made that post about not dying very often, and it being hard to die in Meridian? Yeah... And do you also remember those posts about getting a new DSL line which took over a month and a half for Verizon to activate? Unfortuantely, both of these two events are connected. Its been a while since I talked about the guilds on the server, and now is a good time since they've been multiplying and there are no longer 2 large guilds comprising the majority of the guild wars. Here's the breakdown of the major ones, and the acronyms.

have been a little dry on the updates as last week my bank account had dropped down very low. After that I visited the island again for money making opportunities and racked up around 540k by Monday. There really wasn't anything interesting for me to speak about when I'm the island. Unlike Black Molly, I'm not much of a buccaneer so I don't run into too many adventures there.

The server went down twice last week. Because of that, NDS sped up some spawns and held a few events to make up for the downtime and reversion. The downtime worked out well for me as previous to it, I hadn't really done anything on my character for a few days besides sit in Cor Noth.

t's all about the small things, as you may have noticed about much of my posts. In the following this philosphy, I'm posting about minor things I do while in Meridian that are a lot of fun. One specific event was saturday night as I was walking back on the mainland to sell some bows.

When I came out of the caves, I had noticed Sephia broadcasting for help to do the scimitar quest. It was pretty late already, almost morning, and I figured not too many people would probably offer to help. After a few minutes, I asked if she had any replies yet. Turns out I guessed right, and she had no offers. Being the wonderful and magnificent person I am, I gladly helped her.

t’s been one full year that I started playing Meridian 59 again! I had joined on February 4th, 2005. Previous to that, the last time I had played was in December 2001 on the Russian server. Here’s part of the gmail I got from my guardian angel!

This is an expanded comment I left on Loqieu's blog explaining the war between Cabal and Infinity, as well as its end.

I fought in the war for Cabal against Infinity. I got a kill and suffered no deaths, pretty good for my first war and being an eternal PvP newbie. My kill was on Loco, 1-1 in the streets of north Barloque. Loco had been killed earlier that day by a murderer (who may or may not have been affiliated with Cabal) and was apparantly quite angry. He was wandering around re-equipping himself and I took this opportunity to strike.

f course after I had written up my last entry on Friday night, we suddenly have an event. I was in Marion at the time, still killing trees, when this message went up.

Crafty of those Utom to attack so late on a night when most Meridianites are out! When I got to the Main Gate of Tos, the area was full of orcs and other players were just starting to arrive.
