FlyFF - Oohhh...party...

Party party!

Surprise surprise, got invited to an Advance Party. It was either do or suffer through long time of leveling by myself and I was starting to get very tired of that very fast.

So, with this group of 8 guys, I leveled a level every hour on monsters that I doubt that I would have survived. So, gain 2 levels with them! Woot! The guys were great to do that for little old me. Especially with some free gear and penyas too.

What level am I? Well, before the party, I was stuck for a really long time on Level 30. Now, am Level 32 and hopefully will be levelling faster. Then again, it really depends on the party. This one I was in, the leader had an interesting humour : Random Drop Distribution for everyone. Haha! Except for penyas being distributed evenly, everything else was random. Of course, some folks weren't happy and I don't blame them. Sometimes, the drops are so tempting that you just want to take it. Each drop is worth oodles and oodles of penyas.

So, err...ho hum. But still, it wasn't so bad. Some of the members went to knock themselves out in bed. Me, I went to party with someone else and ended up with some great goodies so very very happy! :D Free equipments : 2 knuckles, 1 wand, 1 fast broom! Some penyas too. So, in total, leveled up from Level 30 to Level 34, especially the last 2 levels in just one hour. Now, is that good or what? :D

FlyFF - Penguin Humour

Saint Pang, Saint Morning Lodelight

Saint Pang the Penguin :

I will see you again when you are dead.

He sure does have a dark sense of humour. Saint Pang is at the Lodelight in Saint Morning. It's a resurrection point should you end up dead from fighting monsters. I definitely do not want to see him that often!

Now, this little Assist is now on Level 30 where monster grinding is starting to take it's toll. Killing a Level 32 Captain Gigglebox only lets me increase my EXP count by 0.46%. So, to get to the next level, I'd have to go through 217 Captain Gigglebox. Oooppsy Daisy!

There is a faster way but it's not a "nice" way. This is to party with a lower level character where you (having the higher level) would literally steal all the EXP points from your partner and your partner will have none. Seems that this is the ugly side of partying. That's why I tend to solo. What some folks do is they actually pay the lower level players penya to party with them. Some folks do con others to party. But me, I still prefer to solo at this point. Parties are for higher levels when things get tougher and I earn more.

FlyFF - The big bluff

This incident will definetely teach me to check before I leap. Because the buckets were priced at 20K a piece, I went and bought two to finish the last bits of my seedlings.

Only to find that PuPang the penguin is no longer around. Urgh. No penguin, no seedling, no chance of a surprise gift.

Remember folks, greed doesn't pay. And, there are still players around asking for money for the last buckets. At least seeds can be eaten but buckets are pretty much useless.

There's probably millions of penyas (FlyFF currency) zipping away into people's pockets at the moment.

Let's see what will happen next, whether Gala-Net will bring back the penguin only to the goods people had. Unlikely but you never know what the complaints from the masses will do.

But without the official forums, there's no way to post this. o_O

FlyFF - MEDIC! STAT!

Dying for Resurrection!

Well, this wasn't something smart. There I was, trying to Resurrect someone back to life after he died. Unfortunately, I click on the wrong thing and therefore, hit on a monster instead.

:( This then lead to me getting completely whacked by that higher-level monster. Plus, I was lagging like mad so that didn't help much either.

Lord, it definitely was a defining moment. Ha ha! Moral of the story : never double-click when you're not sure whether it's the victim or not.

And I lost about 2% of my Exp points. :( Oh well. Another friendly Assist came to help Resurrect us.

It's strange that in-game that there are actually people who absolutely do not want to help with Resurrection. >:( Never could understand that when to get Heal Circle skill is by getting Level 4 Resurrection. Silly people. Their loss, my gain to level up my Resurrection skill. :D

Unless I go and do something stupid like today again.

FlyFF - Kaching!

Dough!

Ah, the sound of sweet sweet of money dropping into my pockets.

Well, I finish the Miracle of the Clown. Never again. Urgh.

The picture above was the 2nd Scenario Quest i.e. find evidence of War. Hey, it's a pretty easy walkthrough to collect the evidence. :D

Yes, people, 36 thousand FREE penyas for just speaking to people.

Don't you just love it when games dish free molah? :D

Although, item #1 on todo list : GET A NEW WARDROBE!

FlyFF - Crap!

Sigh. There I was, about to complete my 1st Scenario Quest. As I was just about to complete it, I fumbled everything and now have to restart about 2/3 of the way.

Sigh sigh. See, this is what you get for rushing into things? Especially in a game where the English translation can be extremely misleading. Argh!

I should have known better. I should have been more careful. Argh!

So, what does this entails? Well, let's see. I have to collected another 50 shiney startstones. Then another 50 Dungeon Rat Tooths. The final one is 50 Big Blue Honeys. The worst bit is that these items are not tradeable so one has to find it ourselves. Sigh.

So, say the going rate was 3 monters per each item above, it's a gruelling killing spree of 450 monsters. So, 1 monster may take easily 60 seconds i.e. killing + searching for one to kill. A good scenario is that I'll get it all done in 7 hours max.

Yeah right. When Myremi fumbles, she crumbles big time.

Myremi cries...

I'm going to play with a little puppy who loves me. Need motivation to continue on.

Flyff - Come fly with me, come fly, come fly with me!

Flyff for Fun!

Oh yes, come fly with me, as Frank Sinatra would have sung it. I got introduced to this free MMORPG game about flying.

The game is about Flying For Fun or FlyFF for short. It's a 3D graphic game where you work your way up through the land of Roika Mainland. Of course, you're going to be grounded in-game until you reach Level 20. Only then will you be eligible to get a broom or board to zip your way merrily along in the sky. Weeee!

It's a fun game and we'll do a bit of a walkthrough in the next few postings. And certainly fun. Probably simple although there is a dedicated PK server where they would whack people.

Anyway, it's a 400+MB download for the Game Client and another 500+MB download for file updates. Yes, it was a pain for me too but well worth it! If you suddenly get disconnected from the net, don't reboot your PC. Just reconnect back, click Re-entry for the game download and just let it continue.

Another good news is that yesterday, they just added in four more servers so the lag has decreased a lot.

Note : When creating a userID, please use all small caps. If you have Capital Letters in your userID, you can't log ingame. Can create a new ID if you need to. I made this mistake. Gulp!

So, let's go flying!

Come fly with me, let’s fly let’s fly away
