Jagex recently came out with a new skill, Slayer.

Basically you speak to a slayer master and they assign you a job, and this job is to kill a certain number of monsters. Slayer Masters are scattered all over Runescape and sell pretty decent weapons for a nice price.

I had just finished doing the Troll Stronghold quest and so I was checking out the small town of Burthrope. I met my first Slayer Master, Turael. He was a nice guy, dressed nice, smiled a lot, lived in a tiny house. I spoke with him and he assigned me a job to kill 20 Goblins (level 5).

I teleport to lumbridge and I kill them like nothing. I striked one and it died almost instantly. I did this 20 times and my job was over. I then went back to Turael and he assigned me a new job, to kill 25 Theives (level 16). Once again I finished this assignment in less than 10 minutes, it was getting quite boring and I couldnt believe I was fighting such easy monsters. I should be fighting dragons and demons, but I'm here killing lizards and crooks? What has become of me?]

It was embarassing and boring, so I stoped doing Slayer jobs for him.

My friend then reccomends me to speak to someone named Vannaka, who was in the dungeons of edgville supposedly killing Zombies. Immediately I head towards Edgeville, which is a town popular for pkers since its right next to the most popular player killing spots. I head down towards the dungeon, past the Skeletons, Spiders, axe wielding Skeletons, and to the Zombies, I find Vannaka.

He wields the most powerful shield in the game, Dragon Square Shield, and is covered in blood. He assigns me a job, to kill the dogs of hell, Hellhounds (Level 122).

I head towards the Talverly Dungeon. Deep into the dungeon I finally find the Hellhounds. I fight many of them with moderate level of difficulty, and I come twards death many times. I manage to survive though, but I had to head back to finish the job.

Once I was finally done I came back to Vannaka and requested another job... 20 Bronze Dragons :\
