Runescape has a terrible community. Its filled with too many lieing, scamming, complaining, and immature noobs.

Ever since I had recieved a very rare dragon left half shield from a black demon (level 172) I killed, I have had very large sums of money. I sold the shield for 7.5 million gp to a very generous player, and with this money I traveled all around runescape looking for things to buy.

So I decided to buy some coal and help balance out my smithing (sine my mining level is 80 and my smithing is only 65). They usualy sell for about 100-150gp each so I thought I could buy about 10,000 and I'd still be rich...But I didnt want to go overboard so instead I set my goal for 3000 coal.

I checked the forums, and players were selling coal for about 30% of the regular street price. They sold it between the ranges of 160-250 per coal. 250gp for one coal? Even though I have a lot of money, does not mean I should spend it soo irrationally. I'll mine the stuff myself if I have to...

I decided to continue looking for cheaper prices on coal, I went to the busiest server in the whole game, server 1. Many players were selling coal at 100 per piece. One player came up to me and offered me 1000 coal for only 100k of my gold, and I would have gladly excepted, except he was a little rat. And by rat, I mean scammer!

Immediately after accepting a trade, another window comes up, where nothing can be changed, and only the options are accept or do not accept.

Apprently this player was a little sneak and decided to remove 900 coal before accepting the deal. Luckily, I remembered I have to be careful with my money, so I was not scammed, but I sure as hell did come very close.

Soon after this, I decided to buy the strongest armor the game had to offer, dragon armor. Such armor cannot be found in stores or be created through high leveled smithing, but it can only be obtained through killing very powerful monsters, such as dragons or demons (which are usualy above the level 100 area). The chances of getting a piece of dragon armor from such monsters is about 1 in 20000, or so I hear, so obviously it is VERY expensive (reason why the left half shield I sold cost 7.5 million ). Well...

Prices of dragon armor (to date):
Medium Helmet: 2.5 million
Chain: 10 million
Legs: 4 million
Square Shield: 8 million

...Okay so I dont have enough money for most of the stuff here... Maybe some other day...

So instead with I just bought nice looking rune armor for 2 million.
