In April 2007, Lineage® II starts an exciting new chapter as The Chaotic Chronicle comes to an end and The Chaotic Throne begins. Interlude, the next game update, is the opening of the Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne saga.
Interlude will add a new area as well as new skills and items for high level players, and lay the foundation for the innovative changes coming in later updates of The Chaotic Throne.
Interlude
In Interlude, high level players will venture to an undiscovered island teeming with savage creatures, where they will face terrifying new foes. This is no place for the faint of heart – it will take teamwork and strategy to survive on this dangerous island. The mighty Tyrannosaurus dwells in the heart of this lush jungle and it will not be an easy task to defeat it. But the challenge is worth the risk! On this isle you will find unique monsters, quests for clans and parties, and more.
High level players will also gain new skills to attack their enemies and encourage teamwork with their party and clan members. With the additional skills they receive in Interlude, players can call new pet allies to their side, employ a colossal weapon against enemies in a siege, and more.
Players who wish to hone their new skills against their allies before taking on their enemies can challenge their friends with the dueling system coming in Interlude. Players can choose to take on their friend one-on-one, or battle party vs. party. There are no penalties for defeat, so players are free to let loose and truly test their mettle.
A new technique to further enhance their weapons will give mid-level and high-level players over 150 new bonuses, allowing the player to customize a powerful and unique weapon. Lower level players can also take advantage of new Shadow Weapons, a “try before you buy” service offered by the village weapon vendors.
Immense fortresses will be scattered across the lands of Aden and Elmore in Interlude, laying the foundation for exciting Player vs. Player battles coming in later updates of The Chaotic Throne. Castle sieges and clan wars are just the beginning of large scale PvP combat!
The Chaotic Throne
Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne is the launch of a new adventure for all players as the game takes an exciting new direction. A new race is planned to make its debut in The Chaotic Throne, and new players and veteran players alike will be able to experience its new, distinctive play style.
New high-level items, massive Player vs. Player battles, and more are coming in The Chaotic Throne. Whether you’re just beginning your adventures in Aden or have fought alongside your allies since the beginning, The Chaotic Throne will offer many exciting features and areas to explore and conquer.
Lineage® II offers the world’s elite MMORPG players unrivalled player versus player combat (PvP) set against a lush backdrop of exotic creatures, rival clans, castle sieges and an ever-growing fantasy world.
Interlude is the next huge, free update for Lineage II offering the chance to take part in a game that has captured the imagination and reached over 14 million gamers worldwide. Forming a bridge between the Chaotic Chronicles and the future Chaotic Throne (scheduled for later in 2007) Interlude hints at what is to come in the challenging times ahead.

Special Trees
The monsters roaming Aden and Elmore are also carrying tree branches and ornaments that can be given to the Santa Trainee to create your own small Christmas tree.
To make your small Christmas tree, you will need 4 Star Ornaments, 4 Bead Ornaments, 10 Fir Tree Branches, and 1 Flower Pot.
Give the Santa Trainee 10 small Christmas trees and he will give you a special Christmas tree, which has a magical effect of increasing health and magic regeneration while under its branches. Special Christmas trees can be summoned anywhere, but you will not receive the magical effects of the tree if it is summoned inside peace zones.
Santa’s Hat
This small guild of the Dwarven Village is led by a mysterious, yet jolly, Dwarf known only as Santa Claus. The apprentices managed to bring along a stock of Santa’s Hats with them to the villages. However, they won’t give up these hats easily! Collect 10 small Christmas trees and the Trainee will exchange them for a bright red Santa’s Hat. This hat can only be worn during the holiday season, and cannot be dropped or exchanged.
Holiday Blessings
The Santa Trainees in the starting villages also give holiday blessings. These buffs will help you in your hunt for both monsters and presents.
Sorry to get this one out a little late, but you still have a few days:
Lineage II Omega’s Revenge (December 11 – 15, 2006)
Omega’s Cat smiled at her master, happy to see him alive and whole. Her memories of the recent events were mostly a blur. She could recall the many adventurers who had listened to her sad tale and given her their wealth earned by their own spoils of battle. Omega’s Cat doubted that their intentions were really to free their master. She had seen their eyes light up at the sight of the crimson masks and horns, glittering crystals, and more that came from the depths of the Coffer of Shadows. No matter, she thought, she had still reached her goal. She had only dim memories of racing from the town, carrying a sack filled with jingling coins; she had stood before the leader of the undead army and demanded the return of her master.
Omega’s own memories were, unfortunately, fresh and vivid in his mind. The endless days of imprisonment and hopelessness would haunt his dreams for many nights to come. He had overheard some of the army muttering that their old commander, Dafstin, would never have left a prisoner alive. But this new leader learned from Dafstin’s mistakes. Other whispers from the undead had revealed the leader recognized the value of money and was determined to properly outfit his army. They had long been gathering crafting materials to create weapons and armor, and the paid ransom would no doubt go toward the same cause.
Omega glanced at his pet, and shared the smile for a moment. “I’m forever in debt to you, my brave little Pavv,” he told his faithful servant. His smile faded. “But it’s too soon to relax. They are preparing for a war… and I plan to give them one.”
Omega’s Revenge
Omega has returned from beyond with reports that the undead legion has been deployed across Aden and Elmore. The denizens of the dark are hunting unwary adventurers, and gathering and hoarding crafting materials to arm themselves for an invasion. Hunt them down and stop them from their task.
Monsters across all level ranges will randomly appear in various locations carrying crafting materials for various B Grade armor, L2 Day scrolls, Enchant Armor scrolls, and more. Be on your guard and join in the fight this menace!
As any mmorpg blogger can probably relate to, it sometimes gets a lot harder to blog as you get more involved in a game. It is as if every spare minute you have available, you want to spend in the game rather than opening up something else, like email or IE, which is why I'm currently blogging during my lunch hour at work .
A few updates:
1) I'm sad to say that my friend 'A' who posted as a guest, unfortunately got 2 of his accounts banned. I don't know the exact details of how it occurred, but in terms of his losses, he probably has lost close to 1 billion adena's worth of game currency, materials, armors, weapons and miscellenous items. Not only that, his main toon was in the high 70's level and that's probably related to about a year's worth of work, particularly while he is also a father of 3 children and a full-time employee. Also his other toons which were on the same accounts were his dwarf crafter which had a multitude of top grade recipes learned and was probably generating a daily income of 10 million adena. When he called me to tell me of the incident, he was pretty drunk (fortunately he was at home when it happened) and so, was not feeling too much of pain due to the loss of his accounts.
On that note, he was not the only casualty of the latest wave of game banning. Multiple bot groups have disappeared from the game - looks like that NCSoft finally grew a pair and utilized a major game cauterization. Unfortunately it also was rather generalized and happen to hit dedicated players like A. Also, I've heard rumors that the GMs also banned toons that were supposedly reported to them to be bots, but they did not actually do proper investigation. Granted I understand that they are probably overloaded with petitions on a daily basis, but sometimes you wonder how far they will take their God complex.
As for A, a friend of his with a generous heart bought 2 brand new accounts for him so that 'A' can get back in the game. A still had his wife's account, so they were not at a total loss but he is determined that he will spend Thanksgiving doing some serious leveling. More updates on that soon.
2) I've come to the conclusion that in order to be able to survive in this game, I had to create a crafter. So I now have Shiiitake, my bounty hunter, and Porchini, my crafter (yes, there's a reason we have a theme, and yes, my spelling isn't the best). Together with my husband's dwarf crafter, JamesonCEO (if you watch the Ghost in the Shell series, you'd get the reference), we have created a crafting clan called FungusAmongus.
I have to say, I am having a great time leveling the dwarves, because they have incredible physical defense, physical attack and also decent running speed. Not only that, their health gauge is higher compared to other toons and I've been able to craft/spoil on my own.
So Yas/Kaeyah has been put on hiatus for a while until I can get my spoiler/crafter up to levels so that they can actually start making money for me. A-grade gets expensive and Yas will be there for a while.
With that, I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and a safe one. I'll be going camping so I'm going to be technology-free for a few days. Till next time, happy Gaming ^^
Well well well…….my first blog appearance -Not really sure how to approach this so here goes my best effort. I play Lineage II, an MMORPG.
In this game I have developed a toon most all my interest:
Toon # 1- my main char is a 70+ Bladedancer (this is the character that I use to basically kick some butt with. He is topped off with the best gear possible for A-grade.)
Toon # 2 - Dwarf – Artisan (This is my money maker. When I got my main character into the 60’s I found it extremely expensive to keep leveling. So I decided to take a few weeks to get a dwarf that I created a while back, who was stuck at 36 forever, up in levels so she could craft stuff for others in game for a reasonable price (income). Once I reached lvl 62 with this toon, it took a lot of money and time to equip this char with the recipes that are in demand. Still short 3 or 4 recipes, she is almost complete. Now I make roughly 4-10m a day which provides me the ability to 1) craft whatever I want when I want 2) keep my main char supplied with SS and such.
Toon # 3-Lvl 61 Hawkeye- This character is a free for all toon that I PvP with and Pk with when need be. I basically use this toon for farming Kali coins and when I am tired of playing my main toon and need a break from the norm.
Toon # 4- Dwarf - Lvl 50 Bounty Hunter – This is a toon that was created and used to spoil different mats/parts/recs for when I craft. I usually like to save my adena to roughly around 30m and try a big craft. If the craft goes I put the weapon on the market……slightly higher than normal price, and wait for it to sell. I enjoy the rewards and reinvest the profits into another craft.
Toon # 5- Lvl 45 Treasure Hunter – This is a toon I get much enjoyment from. She has the ability to silent walk. I like watching bots go DOWN. Before the newest patch, I would round up about 15-20 mobs and drop them right on a bot train and wait for them to drop some armor. I would then take the armor and crush it for crystals. Sell the crystals and make cash’ ola.
I am all about making money in game. The more you make the better/faster you can level. I look forward to all your comments and questions.
Note from Reai0314 - you can leave comments with this posting and I'll make sure A gets them ^^
