I was wrong. Sound issues still happen. Gah, I hate this.

On the other hand I got two badges tonight - my debt repayment badge (first level) and influence badge (first level). Helped a friend got his tutor badge for having me as a SK.

And hit level 35.

So...I guess...maybe...things are working out? Except for the sound. I'm pissed about that.

All night my sound's been cutting out. This just started after this weekend. I'm getting really really annoyed with it.

Anyone else seeing it? I posted my info on the tech support forum...oh well.

I jumped on with my main - Gray Fox (AR/Dev blaster, 33, Pinnacle) - and did one of my "get 35 Crey" missions. I found out I had an instanced outdoor mission of 5th Column - no pesky equipment to save - so I decided to try it before I finished it. It was a Boomtown-esque zone, but about halfway through, I lost sound.

That happens occasionally. I have to restart CoH and TeamSpeak to get it to work. Sometimes it's just one or the other.

Well, there were a ton of Mek Men and Steel Valkyries in the mission. My hope was I could leave, quit, go back in, and not have to redo the whole thing. Oh well. I was wrong. It reset. So yeah, maybe, extra XP, but it's going to be a long mission to finish, I can tell...

Frustrated, I logged out, and levelled up my electric/electric blaster Frost Raven to 10 (despite getting my butt whupped in the Hollows - I can understand now some of the complaints about trying to make it to door missions in there) and my new "specialty" character to 5. I *like* the new Katana animations. The Brawl one especially amuses me too much.

(Oh, and in Badge news, I started the Prisoners badge with Gray Fox, and grabbed two with my alt. I'm an obsessive compulsive addict, I admit it.)
