I went back to my doctor character Mimorydoc & upgraded some symbiotes, implants, and weapon. (QL148 Original Electronomicom pistol) I focussed more on HP gear and better armor than damage this time.
Result: NM Doc (Finally) solo's green rated named mob! Then a Yellow (same level) one. The extra health makes a whole lot of difference for a NM. She's been using the same heals since about level 100 (since Shadowlands heals are all level locked) and even the best Rubi-Ka (RK) Damage over Time (DoT) nanos were selfable shortly after. Adds during the fight (additional mobs that assist the mob your fighting) of course ruin it for you. It is much harder to outlast a boss mob's huge HP bar with something else nipping at you. I don't quite have the 2 second nano regen level for psychic attribute so I can still run out of nano, and even QL 175+ nano stims won't help if damage per second is too high.
The key for doctors seems to be one target at a time, and patience.... (lots of patience, lots and lots and lots of patience, maybe more than I have, I'll have to see) In fact you might want to have a book/newspaper handy for major fights, as you will be there a while. watch for DoTs (or worse init debuff: UBT) wearing off, refresh your Hot (Heal over Time), and use complete heal, or Lifegiving Elixer (heals) as needed. If your nano stays steady you will win, if its dropping faster than your targets health (which will be pretty slow) you might want to consider running away. Opponents will chase you, and hit but you will be able to out heal one or two fairly easily unless your fighting something way above your level.
Did a number of missions for nanos to pass on to the Engineer, and MP. They were worth decent XP (shunted into LE research), and one of the nanos I found was the Doc grid nano (1 min cast time) which helped a little, I'd been using the earlier one that has a 3 min casting time.
Next: Doc Mim, To Prenumbra operating theatre please...
